    After winning the Indy Pro 2000 championship in 2020 and finishing second in the battle for the Indy Lights title in 2022, Sting Ray Robb made his IndyCar debut with Dale Coyne Racing in 2023. However, he failed to make much of an impression, with a 12th-place finish being his best result. As a result, he decided to switch to AJ Foyt Racing in 2024, hoping to benefit from the team's collaboration with Team Penske.

    2024, however, also turned out to be a difficult season. Robb was never able to outqualify his teammate, Santino Ferrucci, and while Ferrucci regularly finished in the top ten, Robb managed it only once. He finished the season in 20th place, which was not enough to retain his seat at AJ Foyt Racing for 2025.

    Thanks to his generous sponsorship budget, Robb secured a spot with Juncos Hollinger Racing for 2025, the same team he raced for during three years on the Road to Indy ladder. At Juncos Hollinger Racing, Robb was again a regular at the back of the field, though he did manage one top-ten finish — a ninth place at Long Beach.
