This weekend, following the Indy 500, what is expected to be the most unique race of the IndyCar season will take place. A 1.7-mile (2.736-kilometer) street course has been laid out around the National Mall, running past landmarks including the U.S. Capitol, the Reflecting Pool, the Smithsonian Museum and the National Archives. Race distance: 147 laps / 250 miles (402.3 km)
Push-to-Pass: can be used for a total of 150 seconds, with a maximum of 15 seconds per activation
Tires: six sets of standard, harder compound Firestone tires and five alternate, softer sets per car (rookies get one additional set of standard tires)
