For this analysis, we used prices for full race weekends attended by adults, which thus span two to four days. We excluded the Indy 500 from this study, as well as the races in Portland, Milwaukee and Markham (prices not yet available).
Grandstand seats rise this year by an average of $11.24 to $116. Remarkably, this price is slightly lower than the average 'General Admission' tickets. This is due to three races that only offer 'General Admission' tickets (Laguna Seca, Road America and Barber Motorsports Park).
The cheapest grandstand tickets are for the Sonsio Grand Prix on the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – here you pay $70 for a grandstand seat. The most expensive grandstand tickets are for the new Grand Prix of Arlington at $195 per seat.
Compared to 2025, two races did not raise their prices for 2026: the events at WWT Raceway and Road America. Long Beach offers the only tickets cheaper than last year; the 'General Admission' tickets are $8 less. However, this is offset by grandstand seats for this famed race being $17 more expensive. The biggest price hike was implemented at Barber Motorsports Park, with a 35% increase on the only 'General Admission' tickets (from $137 for three days in 2025 to $185 in 2026).
