IndyCar Start Times in the USA, UK & Australia in 2025
USA & Canada
American and Canadian fans can tune in to the IndyCar races mainly during the afternoon on the East Coast, while on the Pacific Coast, most races start late in the morning. In 2025, there are no night races, with the first race at the Iowa Speedway being the latest race, starting at 5 PM.
United Kingdom & Europe
European fans are fortunate in 2025: there will be only be one night race in 2025 (the WWT Raceway, starting at 1AM Brittish time)! Almost all races start in the evening, with most of them beginning around 7-8 PM Western European Time (United Kingdom).
Australia & New Zealand
Following the IndyCar series from Australia is always a challenge. Since most races are held on Sundays in the United States, it's already Monday morning for Australian fans. The early races can be watched before your workday, but you'll need to wake up very early, as these races start around 4-5 AM (AEST), while the later races start around 7 AM.
Fans in New Zealand have it a little easier, with starting times typically around 6-7 AM. However, since most races are run on Sundays in the United States, this translates to Mondays in Australia and New Zealand, which could conflict with office hours.
