IndyCar Start Times in the USA, UK & Australia in 2026
USA & Canada
American and Canadian fans can tune in to the IndyCar races mainly during the afternoon on the East Coast, while on the Pacific Coast, most races start late in the morning. In 2026, there is one night race scheduled; the race at the WWT Raceway (Gateway) will start at 9:20 PM ET.

United Kingdom & Europe
European fans are fortunate in 2026: there will be only be one night race in 2026 (the WWT Raceway, starting at 2:20 AM Brittish time)! Almost all races start in the evening (11 of the 18 races will start before 8 PM), with most of them beginning around 7-8 PM British Time.
Australia & New Zealand
Following the IndyCar series from Australia is always a challenge. Since most races are held on Sundays in the United States, it's already Monday morning for Australian fans. The early races can be watched before your workday, but you'll need to wake up very early, as these races start around 4-5 AM (AEST), while the later races start around 7 AM.
Fans in New Zealand have it a little easier, with starting times typically around 6-7 AM. However, since most races are run on Sundays in the United States, this translates to Mondays in Australia and New Zealand, which could conflict with office hours.
