Will Power set the fastest time during the second and final day of testing at Sebring. The Team Penske driver was six hundredths of a second quicker than his teammate Josef Newgarden in the morning session. Marcus Armstrong posted the fastest time in the significantly slower afternoon session.

“It’s funny how after just a few days in the car, you feel right at home again,” Power reflected. “We went through the same old changes to confirm everything once more. I know this car so well by now, but it keeps evolving. So, you always have to stay sharp.”

Interestingly, the morning session, held in cooler conditions, was much faster. The top eight from the morning session all posted faster times than the best time in the afternoon session.

In the afternoon session, Kyle Kirkwood was the second-fastest behind Armstrong, followed by Pato O’Ward, Christian Lundgaard, and a surprising Rinus VeeKay. Another standout name was Prema, which finished fifth in the morning session with Callum Ilott in its first official IndyCar test, while Robert Shwartzman set the sixth-fastest time in the afternoon.

The biggest issues of the day once again belonged to Scott Dixon. After completing only two laps yesterday due to a mechanical problem, he went off the track just 15 minutes into today’s session and made contact with the tire barriers. However, the damage was relatively minor, allowing him to continue testing after repairs. With a total of 58 laps completed over the two-day test, the New Zealander was the least productive driver in the field.
