Juncos Hollinger Racing is looking to build on the strong finish to their 2024 season, where Conor Daly secured the team’s first-ever podium finish. Over the winter, the team parted ways with Romain Grosjean and brought in Sting Ray Robb as their second driver alongside Daly.

Conor Daly faced a tough task last year at Juncos Hollinger Racing: he had to replace Agustín Canapino and keep the #78 car within the “Leader Circle” (worth $1 million). Not only did he succeed, but in just five races for the team, he also delivered their first-ever podium finish in the IndyCar Series!

“I think my podium in Milwaukee is the only reason I’m here, to be honest,” Daly admitted. “It’s a results-driven industry. We showed speed in a lot of other places too, but even that tenth-place finish in Nashville—which I thought was one of our best races in a long time—we qualified sixth and finished tenth. That’s not really what matters.

“You have to win trophies. You have to be at the front. You have to do things that make people look at you again—and maybe even a third time. This year, we want to approach every weekend with the goal of fighting for the podium.”

Sting Ray Robb enters his third season in the IndyCar Series this year, driving for his third different team. So far, he hasn’t made a big impact, but he showed progress last year with AJ Foyt Racing. At WWT Raceway, he even earned his first top-ten finish with a ninth-place result. This year, he hopes to continue that upward trend.

“I think I’m going to enjoy racing a lot more this year,” Robb concluded. “I think in this sport, and especially for myself, that’s something that’s easy to forget. I know why I’m here. I know what I’m doing. In the past, I’ve been a winning driver, and I’ve enjoyed that—winning championships. But that’s easy to forget sometimes when you’re challenged, like I am now, in a top-tier series like IndyCar.”

“Getting back to that form would be nice. I know I’m probably not going to go out and win St. Pete right away, but I at least want to enjoy it on the same level I used to. A successful season—if you were to put a number on it, I’m not sure I could. I’m not sure I can say that right now.”
