In 2008 Roth Racing is stepping out of the Indy Pro Series and into the IndyCar series in a full time effort. Roth Racing was formed in 2003 when land developer and race car driver Marty Roth bought equipment from Panther Racing to start his own Indy Pro Series team. The team competed full time in the Indy Pro Series in 2004 and 2005 with Roth as a driver, scoring 15 top-10 finishes. In 2006 and 2007 Roth decided it was time to try out a part-time IndyCar effort before fielding two cars full-time in 2008.

This season Roth Racing will be participating in the full IndyCar Schedule with veteran Roth and 2006 Indy Pro Series Champion Jay Howard at the wheel.
