Minardi Team USA

Minardi Team USA, formerly CTE-HVM Racing, was purchased by former Formula One team owner Paul Stoddart in late 2006. Stoddart is making his return to racing after a year of absence after the sale of his Formula One team. The Champ Car team scored its first of four victories in 2002 when Mario Dominguez took the checkered flag in Australia. Ryan Hunter-Reay made history with HVM in 2004 in Milwaukee by leading every lap on his way to a victory. Drivers Nelson Philippe and Dan Clarke scored a total of four podium finishes in 2006, including a victory by Philippe in Australia.
