Biografie
De Britse coureur Jack Hawksworth begint in de kart op dertien jarige leeftijd en werd op zijn vijftiende kampioen in de Junior Rotax Euro Max en tweede in de World finals. Na zijn eindexamen stapt Hawksworth in als professionele kart coureur en met succes. In KZ1 karting wint hij de 2009 Trofeo Margutti. In 2010 wint hij enkel races in het Duitse kampioenschap en pakt hij verschillende podiums in zowel de KZ1 en KZ2 European kampioenschappen hij wordt hiermee 6e overall in de 2010 KZ1 European Championship met het Maddox Team. Een uitstapje dat jaar met team Protrain Racing op Engelse bodem levert Hawksworth een overwinning in de British Kart Masters Grand Prix in Senior Max op.In 2010 stapt Hawksworth over naar de open wheel racing en strijdt in de 2010 Formula Renault Winter series bij het team van Mark Burdett. Met vier pole positions van de zes races eindigt hij als 3e overall en blijft hij als beste rookie Red Bull Juniors Daniil Kvyat, Carlos Sainz, Jr. en Mclaren Autosport Award winnaar Oliver Rowland voor. In 2011 rijdt hij Formula Renault UK, wisselt hij halverwege het seizoen van team en wordt hij 4e in de eindklassering met een overwinning in Croft.
In 2012 neemt Hawsworth deel in de 2012 Star Mazda Championship met Team Pelfrey als onderdeel van de Mazda Road to Indy. Hij wint het kampioenschap in zijn rookiejaar en breekt ieder record in de series door van de 16 wedstrijden er acht te winnen, vier keer tweede te worden en nog eens alle snelste rondes op zijn naam te schrijven. Hij stapt in 2013 in bij het Indy Lights team van Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. Met zes podiumplaatsen waaronder drie overwinningen wordt de Brit 4e overall.
In 2014 rijdt Jack Hawksworth in de Indycar Series voor Bryan Herta Autosport.
