Na in 2020 het Indy Pro 2000 kampioenschap te hebben gewonnen en in 2022 als tweede te zijn geëindigd in de strijd om de Indy Lights titel, maakte Sting Ray Robb in 2023 zijn IndyCar debuut bij Dale Coyne Racing. Hier kon hij bijzonder weinig indruk maken, met slechts een twaalfde plaats als beste klassering. Hierop koos hij ervoor om in 2024 de overstap te maken naar AJ Foyt Racing, waar hij hoopte te kunnen profiteren van de samenwerking van dat team met Team Penske.
2024 zou echter ook een moeilijk seizoen worden. Geen enkele keer wist Robb zich voor teamgenoot Santino Ferrucci te kwalificeren en terwijl Ferrucci regelmatig in de top tien finsihte, lukte het Robb slechts één keer. Robb finishte het seizoen als twintigste, onvoldoende om zijn stoeltje bij AJ Foyt Racing voor 2025 te behouden.
Dankzij zijn ruime sponsorbudget vond Robb voor 2025 onderdak bij Juncos Hollinger Racing, hetzelfde team als waarvoor hij drie jaar in de 'Road to Indy'-ladder reed. Met dit team hoopt de Amerikaan voort te bouwen op zijn opgedane ervaring.
