On Track This Week '17 - Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

OTTWLB After what seemed like another hiatus, It's finally Round 2 of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Season! So of we head to the left coast, and set up shop in sunny Long Beach, California, for the 43rd running of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, where the forecast is nothing but sunshine and humidity! Now if only we could be that confident about the rest of the components of the weekend!

Event: Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
Venue: Streets of Long Beach California
Track Type: 12-turn, 1.968-mile,temporary street course

TV: Coverage begins on NBCSN. Which means they will talk about the IndyCar season, not just the month of May.
Rick Allen assumes the lead announcer position, and has your play-by-play, while Townsend Bell & Paul Tracy natter on in the booth, and Marty Snider, Kevin Lee, Katie Hargitt and Robin Miller over things on the ground.

Broadcast Windows: Practice 2pm PT (5pm ET) Friday, April 7, Race, 1pm PT (4pm ET) Sunday, April 9.

Web/radio: Mark Jaynes leads the way as chief announcer. Joining him in the booth will be analyst Davey Hamilton. Turn reporters are Jake Query and Nick Yeoman, with Rob Howden and Michael Young reporting from the pits. All Verizon IndyCar Series races are broadcast live on the Advance Auto Parts INDYCAR Radio Network, Sirius 212, XM 209,, and on the INDYCAR Mobile app.
