About Franck Perera
Biography
Perera started his racing career in Europe in 1995 where he dominated the go-kart circuits winning five karting championships and by age 15 was crowned "Karting Formula A World Champion. This caught the attention of Toyota and the team signed him on to their Toyota F1 Young Drivers Development Program."Fearless" Franck quickly made his way up the ranks moving to America at the start of 2007 to take on the Champ Car Atlantic Championship, where he challenged for the championship (finishing 2nd) and took Rookie of the Year honors. 2008 will see him contesting the Firestone Indy Lights Series with Guthrie Racing. By the fifth race of the season, he was on the podium, and two races later he scored his first victory.
