That same year she became only the third female driver to start an IndyCar Series race and scored a career high in the IndyCar Series 11th place finish in Texas in 2007 with SAMAX Motorsports.

2010 finds the popular Venezuelan running her first full IndyCar season, this time with Dale Coyne Racing.
When not racing, Duno, a published author, spends her time traveling and promoting the importance of education.
