Duno on Probation
Milka Duno has drawn the ire of fans, journalists, and other drivers throughout her career, for exceptionally, or what some term dangerously, slow pace and inconsistent driving. Now, she is drawing the ire of IndyCar series officials. Due to her incredibly poor 2010 season, which has seen her severely off the pace on all road and street circuits and a DNQ at Indianapolis, the Venezuelan driver has been placed on probation by the Indy Racing League.

According to the press release, her probation requires "immediate and substantial improvement to her driving," which means she needs to be with 107% of the leader on road and street circuits and within 10 mph on the ovals. Duno will be allowed to protest her probation if she chooses.

After failing to post a lap during qualifying, she will start tomorrow's Honda Edmonton Indy from 24th.
