Toronto - IndyCar FP2: Hunter-Reay paces field in afternoon, Matos surprises
Ryan Hunter-Reay, who led much of the opening practices, turned the quickest lap in the afternoon session at Toronto, bettering Dreyer and Reinbold Racing's Justin Wilson. Helio Castroneves, Will Power, and a surprising Raphael Matos rounded out the top five. For Matos, it is one of his better showings of the year, and continues his momentum after finishing fourth and Watkins Glen.

After struggling in the opening practice, Danica Patrick enjoyed a better session in the afternoon, coming in 11th. Alex Tagliani backed up his solid morning time by placing sixth in the afternoon.

Hideki Mutoh brought out the lone caution period, when he backed his car into the turn three wall, damaging the left-rear suspension and rear wing.

Qualifying will be held on Saturday at 12:50.
