Infineon Raceway logo After enjoying a little downtime with family and friends, watching some record breaking athleticism from China, and doing a little testing, it's time to get back to the business of crowning a champion for the 2008 IndyCar and Indy Lights season. With one race for the top tier and a double-header for the ladder, it's every man and woman for themselves this weekend, where every point counts.

The action gets underway on Friday at Infineon Raceway in beautiful Sonoma County, California

10:00am - 10:30am - IndyCar Practice - Group 2
11:15am - Indy Lights Pre-race
11:45am - Indy Lights Race #1 (30 laps or 60mins)
1:15pm - 2:45pm - IndyCar Qualifying (90mins)

Sunday Aug 24th

9:45am - 10:15am - IndyCar warm-up
11:00am - Indy Lights Pre-race
11:30am - Indy Lights Race #2 (30 laps or 60mins)
12:30pm - IndyCar Pre-race
1:05pm - IndyCar Pre Race
2:30pm - Infineon Indy Grand Prix (80 laps)

The Indy Lights races will air tape delayed on Aug 28th at 5:00pm on ESPN2

The IndyCar race will air live on Aug 24th on ESPN at 2:30pm EDT


Also on track this weekend, the Star Mazda Championship joins the ALMS in Canada at the Grand Prix of Mosport.
