Final Qualifying Day: Bring it on!

For the 26 drivers still to qualify for the 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500, today is the day to put it all together as the final 22 spots on the starting grid are up for grabs. With the weather wreaking havoc this month, and a 50% chance of showers this afternoon, look for the drivers to try to get up to speed in the early part of the session to secure a quick time and therefore a spot in the main event.

On a positive note, those qualifying today have the opportunity to start as high as 12th on the grid due to the 2nd qualifying day being rained out last weekend. This is good news for those drivers who were announced to teams late in the process like Simmons, Lazier, Geibler and Yasukawa.
