The Illinois-based outfit was one of the most successful in open history, earning eight championships since it was found in 1983 by Haas and actor Paul Newman. Some of the theirs included Mario and Michael Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Paul Tracy, Sebastien Bourdais, Christian Fittipaldi, Christiano da Matta, Graham Rahal, Justin Wilson, and Bruno Junqueira. In 2011, they competed with Oriol Servia and James Hinchcliffe.
