E.J. Viso, São Paulo Ernesto Viso, or “EJ” as he prefers to be called, makes the jump “across the pond” to compete in the IndyCar series with HVM Racing as a rookie title contender for 2008. Viso, from Caracas, Venezuela, most recently competed in GP2 in 2007 winning twice and collecting six podium finishes. He also was a Formula 1 test driver for Spyker in 2006. Prior to his stint in Formula 1 the Venezuelan raced in British F3 and Formula Renault after winning the Skip Barber Dodge championship.
