Biografie
De ervaren Braziliaan maakt zijn Champ Car debuut in Long Beach na een aantal jaren in de Formule 1 te hebben door gebracht. In 1996 komt Pizzonia naar Engeland waar hij in de Formule Vauxhall, Formule Renault èn Formule 3 kampioen wordt. In 2001 volgt de overstap naar de FIA F3000 waarin hij 2 seizoenen voor Petrobras rijdt. In de twee jaar F3000 pakt hij 1 overwinning. In 2002 tekent Pizzonia ook als testrijder voor het team van Williams en in 2003 mag hij zijn debuut in een F1 Grand Prix maken voor het team van Jaguar. Na driekwart seizoen wordt hij door het team vervangen en keert hij terug naar Williams als testrijder. Gedurende de seizoenen 2004 en 2005 komt hij enkele malen tijdens een GP in actie door blessures van teamgenoten.Carrière
