Medical Update on Justin Wilson - from INDYCAR

All of us here at OpenWheelWorld.net, and our sister site OpenWheelWorld.nl continue to keep a good thought for Justin Wilson and his family at this scary and difficult time.

Having gone through a similar situation in our previous incarnation as ChampCarWorld.net when Cristiano DaMatta had his devastating accident at Road America, we are sadly familiar with this process, and well aware that our greatest tools over the next few days and weeks will be hope and patience.

Speculation and conjecture serve no purpose at this time.

We will continue to provide updates as they are provided to us by the series and the Wilson family.

From this morning:

MEDICAL UPDATE:
INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 24, 2015) - Verizon IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson remains hospitalized in a coma in the intensive care unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, Pa., after sustaining a severe head injury during Sunday's event at Pocono Raceway. He remains in critical condition.

INDYCAR continues to send its thoughts and prayers to the family and thanks the entire motorsports community for the outpouring of support.
Additional updates to Wilson's condition will be released when available.
